I had the pleasure of working with Nicky on several Bloomberg projects. He was one of a kind, a breed of man that is becomming few and far between, that took pride in what he did and never settled for second best no matter how much effort it took. He never reached his goal on someone elses coat tails, yet in doing his own tasks he still looked out for everyone elses interest. We had some good laughs together and I learned a thing or two or three from him. Losing Nicky is sad to us, because self-less people are becoming rarer and rarer.
